After achieving a degree in business administration, Charlene went on to complete an amazing apprenticeship in Victoria BC. Motivated by her love of learning and the creative platform of haircoloring, she was able to further study under the renowned master stylist Fabio Sementilli and the Goldwell Scholar program. In addition to becoming certified as a Cezanne smoothing service provider, she has pursued ongoing education in haircutting, coloring and styling with Wella, Rusk, Sebastion, Moroccanoil and Eleven.

Being passionate about the environment and mentoring has led Charlene to align Solace Salon with the Green Circle Salons recycling program and BC’s Industry Training Authority’s Red Seal Apprenticeship program.

Away from the salon, Charlene can be found spending time with her awesome husband, their 2 cats, and family and friends. Also probably enjoying a coffee, reading a great book and maybe getting a new tattoo☺.

In addition, Ashley has successfully completed the ITA’s Red Seal Certification as a hairstylist and has been certified by Cezanne as a smoothing service provider. Being creative on many levels has helped Ashley pursue her career goals of developing a great client base where she can help each person achieve the style they are hoping for.

On her days off Ashley is busy hanging out with her family and friends, going for motorcycle rides and a million other fun things!
